Chelsea C. Markopoulos, Therapist/Addiction Counselor

Reaching out for help and support is a sign of strength not weakness.

I work in a collaborative process designed to identify negative thoughts that lead to your discomfort. Together we can explore your thinking and work toward a change that will empower and motivate a healthy, balanced life. I truly believe everyone deserves my respect without judgment. As human beings we all have our struggles. Reaching out for help and support is a sign of strength not weakness.

I have worked in the addiction field since 2000. Through my work in this field I have dealt with a wide variety of issues and populations. Addiction is often developed as an unhealthy/unsustainable way of coping with issues such as trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, relationship/family issues, etc.

I like to help people think with a creative approach to their problems. Often we cannot see the answers in front of us. Through dialogue we can explore options and resources that can serve as strengths in the journey toward wellness.
